Assuming the mirror were polished, if the photos were taken outside
the ROC, then this is turned down / rolled edge. If they were taken closer
to the mirror, then they are turned up edge.

How much time do you have in polishing already? Have you been
swapping Tool-On-Top and Mirror-On-Top every wet or two? You need to get
the edge polished out before you can call it a true TDE. Until the mirror
is polished, it is just a lagging edge polish.

If you are not yet polished out, just try Tool-On-Top only with 1/3 W
strokes for a long while to see if it starts to respond. The edge is
lagging behind the center and may just need more action.

That is either dog biscuit or air turbulence. While you are polishing
the mirror, don't worry about it. Once the mirror is fully polished and
ready to start figuring, then you can adjust your technique so that the
surface is smoother. Watch for air currents in the room while testing also.
