Oh yes, I've seen this for many years.  I alluded to it recently.  It is not
just turned edge, but all zonal discrepancies that are highly exaggerated.
I like dunking the mirror in warm water, and immediately commencing to test.
Though the mirror figure is shaking violently, one can discern the
heightened zonal errors.
