Ok, to get things straight, I will be using full size tooling for the grinding of my 14" DK primary, but I want to use sub-diameter laps for the polishing and figuring.

What size is recomended and what is the stroke, I want to know the polishing ones mainly, I will ask when I get to the figuring stage?

I have never used a sub-diameter lap before so please be a indepth as possible. TIA.
