I just want to thank everyone that responded. I especially enjoyed
the sarcasm. You guys are really good at this.

I've decided to build Dennis Rech's M-o-M and using only the
motor from the drill press. Wouldn't you know it? I ran into
a problem almost immediately. The #@&% motor has a 14mm
shaft (but it does turn!). I need to be able to mount small, 1" to 3",
English size pulleys on the shaft. I think it can be done using
bushings. However, this gets me into an area I know nothing about
and the parts have to be mail ordered. Where can I get a quick
lesson on building power trains?
