GOOD NEWS!!!

The 36" telescope owner just called to tell me the telescope maker 
has agreed to refigure the optics to a classical cassegrain as a 
warranty repair (ie no cost if we transport the optics).  We are 
also invited to verify the results before he coats the optics.

This is a result of all your suggestions and our tests last night.

Thanks to everybody.  Things are looking up.
