Re: ATM 1/2" plate glass




Hi,

I'm making a 10" mirror from a 5/8" blank, and there isn't any problem so
far...  I could say the largest size would be a 14".  That would probably be
when you run into **BAD** sagging.  Of course, I'm assuming you have a
superb mirror cell all laid out...  Don't go with superglue or epoxy.  If
necessary, use optical cement.  Still though, warping would be nasty...  see
if you can have it done by Newport Glass.  Hope this helps,
