ATM POSTED: 25" CONTOUR MAPS

Hi all,
I have finally posted the interferometer contour maps for my 25" Galaxy
mirror. They can be viewed at the following site:

Some of you had asked me for these to help in your evaluation.
The mirror kind of looks like a potato chip but I guess when you
put in perspective that the high to low point is only .342, the mirror
is not nearly as bad as the isometric picture looks.
I am going to find out from John Hudek if he masks the edges of the
mirrors when he tests them. If so how much. I would not mind masking
the mirror down if I get good performance out of it. Kind of like a penalty:
just buy or make a mirror slightly larger than you want because bad edges
are so often a problem. Let's keep in mind that he made this mirror
10 years ago and it is not necessarily a reflection of his current work.
Should I mask the mirror anyway because I have that pea size chip in the
edge?? John did a beautiful job dressing it up.
