ATM Figuring with machine.
Hi all...
I think I am ready to start figuring my mirror. I would like to
let my machine do the work and was wondering who I should adjust
the stroke??? (it's a elgin type).
Another thing, my pitch lap is poured on a flat plywood circle and
it is now wearing quite thin on the edge (about 4-5mm). Should I
pour another pitch lap or can use this one for figuring ???
I have also completed my foucault tester but I was wondering about
the pinhole. How small has it to be ? (currently it's 0.8mm)
Should I change it to a slit ???
p.s. It is a 8" f/6 mirror.
Thanks in advance.....
