Thanks again Rob. Well, here`s the plan, please pass along any thoughts. I`m going to grind this to an F5 and finish it spherical. After coating the back will have a fine threaded machine screw epoxied to it...in the center. The mirror mount will be a ring of ?felt ?carpet to support the outer 1/2, and the screw will go through a circular piece of plywood, with a nice big wing nut on the other side. The parabola will be tuned in at each use, kinda like a star test but the figure will be tunable. Well, that`s my latest mad scheme, all comments appreciated. Idea came from an old S&T or Astronomy, long before the astronomy bug bit me for real. Thanks Rodg
