I would argue that there 'are 7 ways' to make pitch laps because making
pitch laps takes some practice, not because there is no good way of
doing it.  I pour the pitch, channel with a wood stick, press the
mirror, and am ready to go in short order with no fuss or mess.  I would
venture to guess that many of the experienced amateurs also do this, as
opposed to the more elaborate and painstaking gluing on of pitch
squares, or???  Am I right, or wrong?
