Kevin:
I am having pretty good luck with using my Black & Decker WorkMate as a
stand. I drilled holes in a piece of particle board and inserted bits of
chopsticks to hold the mirror, and then clamp the particle board into the
WorkMate.
It was a few inches too low for comfort at first, and I was killing my
back, but then I wised up. I folded the legs of the stand so it is now 24"
tall -- just right when I sit in my desk chair. Now I roll myself around the
work and my back really likes it!

Keep the updates coming.
