ATM Ceramic Tools
Peter, I've said before here that I use glazed tile and they work just
fine. I guess we just don't know any better. The glaze wears off pretty
quick as you said. The sides remain glazed and it doesn't come off.
Sometimes I feel amateur telescope makers "nit the picks" and trip on
shoestrings. Gosh, if you knew any better you wouldn't do it. Didn't Rich
Combs say he sometines uses just concrete. Humpf! I've seen guys use
large river stones. I wonder if they thought about it not working.
How about it folks, what works and what doesn't, and why?
Friendly Bob
