Well, giving this the old college try, managed to smooth out the center
somewhat, using 2" tool, but figure reduced to 1/5 wave, over corrected
in the center. Then used full size tool working outer zones, as TEX
showed edge could still be corrected a slight amount, VERY lightly with
red rouge.
Bratislav- I've switched to rouge for figuring, thanks for the
suggestion, the stuff is great to work with, very controlable, even
more than the precision refined .3u cerium I use for finishing in the
shop (Hastilite PO).
Just ran TEX across two diameters 90 deg apart, dog biscuit is gone,
zoning in the center zone is oh so negligable, that with the 1/15 wave
readout, I'm tempted to finally lay this thing to rest.
We'll see.....
