Re: Riverside Photos in S&T

Thank you, thank you, Dave McCarter. Heh, Heh, Hummmmnnn, I dont look
like any famous movie star, but some what like a famous ex-football coach
turned commentator. I jump like him too. Looking at my sig you can see I
have a mouthstash and double chin. I also weigh ovr 300 lb. Check Andy
Steere's web site for ma pict. I'm wearing a white hat. Last year I was
in the RTMC photo contest, but it was ma back. In Andy's pick I think I'm
standing almost right behind robertf and next to Dean Kettelsen (sp
Dean). It is really important that we meet again at RTMC and those of you
at TSP and the winter starparty, and Stellafane and the Astro Fest. It is
great putting faces to e-mail. Some day I'm going to take up a collection
(win the Lotto) to get Bratislav, Steve Tonkin, and other non-state side
folks to come to RTMC.

With respect to RTMC, I feel the flavor is still there as there are many
telescopes there, as an example Mel Bartel's, that one can glean ideas
from to take home. There is also much telescope "junk" being swapped.
Also Rich Combs demonstration on mirror making was valuable. I've been to
the TSP and it isn't like RTMC. Tsp, to me is an observers party (fun too).

Friendly Bob (Clark Gable? Heh, heh, ha, ha, h...........a)
