Usually in production thermal bonding of parts with epoxy, the adheasive 
is carried in a cloth scree that is open weave. I think the idea here is 
use something like hardware cloth used for screened doors saturated with 
epoxey. It sounds like it would work well when the epoxey hardens. The bond 
line should be as stiff as the epoxey.
