Yes ! Primary is no slouch either (primary is a weak hyperbola, 
- my guess - very difficult to get right).
If you wan to play with Cassegrainian (heh,heh) configuration,
I'd consider Dall-Kirkham, with it's spherical secondary. Make
it f/long and don't worry about aberrations ! Ideal "starter's"
project. If you got the good source of quality lenses (Melles
Griot ?), you can even design the 'scope around the known radius
convex lens that you can aluminize and use as secondary. The only 
job left is to make a matching elliptical primary !
