I, for one, do care.
I haven't been reading the List with regularity for the last few months, and 
am quite puzzled as to what the controversy is all about.  Call it morbid 
curiosity if you like, but when a List member with as many thoughtful, 
useful posts as Bob May becomes involved in such a spat, I have to wonder 
what is really going on.  It does affect ATMing, because it affects 
credibility.  One must always consider the source when seeking advice, and 
when the source's credibility has been challenged, one must consider the 
source of the challenge...and so on.   As always, information is everything.
