Anthony, that's not a bad design for a quick and dirty generator.
It does suffer from the problem of settting it for each radius
you want to cut and leaves a rough surface when done.  I agree
with you about the removal of the shield and also would have made
a special washere to bend the diamond wheel so that the whole
curve could have been cut at one time.
