Actually having done it, my experience differs with your statement and you 
have over simplified the operation of the compound diamond curve generator. 
I used one before I made my pendulum but it was limited to six inches in 
diameter and was a huge machine. I used the pendulum grinder and finished my 
22" in less time than I could have built a good compound grinder.

grinder. I would love to see a photo of you with yours for I do plan to 
build a compound grinder but until I do I will continue to use the pendulum 
as it is works very well.
