thats darn good thinking and way low tech...and less tool intensive than all 
our cumilative machinations...right on!!!

think about that Kevin it has many merrits...You could also use the idea 
with different offsets and different tools...it works for table 
saws...hand-saws...jigsaws...circsaws...reciprocating 
saws....etc....depending on where you put the mark, and or disk reletive to 
the business end of the "whatever"-saw...and all you need is some way to cut 
an imprecise hole in plywood (a jig saw), and some sort of adhesive after 
making a mark with newspaper...thats pretty darn low tech for the high 
quality results you would get...

right on Dan...nifty solution.
