Re: [ATM] Cutting large-diameter PVC

Maybe I missed something, but I haven't seen anyone suggest using what I
find to be my most valuable (and relatively safe!) tools - an old 4" belt
hand sander (a 3'' sander would, of course, also work).

To 'square' the ends of a rough-cut tube, clamp the sander down sideways on
a workbench (preferably with the belt at right angles to the bench!), place
the tube on the bench, and simply rotate the tube against the belt. Also
gives a nice clean end after you de-burr the edges a bit (with the sander,
of course!).
