[ATM] more on plop output

when one runs plop and is looking at the color plot, what, actually, is the 
actual desired outcome? to have as much of the middle band (green) over the 
mirror? i just can't really tell, while still in the learning stages, what i'm 
looking at... sure, there's some pretty patterns but that's not the name of the 
game ;)

for example, i'm looking at the numbers for an 8in (203mm) diameter .75in (19mm) 
thick mirror... with a 2.25in (57.15mm) diameter diagonal and assuming the 
mirror is made of plate glass...

starting at the top of the color plot, the numbers are
for a 3 point cell	for a 6 point cell

that's quite a bit of difference between the two sets but i'm still not sure 
about what i'm looking at... are these the numbers of difference from a totally 
flat surface? i assume that flat surface would be the back of the mirror?

granted, move the decimal and look at the straight numbers instead of scientific 
notation and we're talking minute proportions... on a large mirror, i can see 
where this would make a difference...

anyway, i'm just looking for more clarification as to what one should be 
actually looking for to know they've found the best cell they can for the mirror 
they're working with...
