Hi George,

With these mirror dimensions, you could use a 12 point cell instead of
18.
http://www.atmsite.org/contrib/Holm/Plop_optimized_cells/design_space.html

Tom Krajci and a couple of others have used 12-point cells with success.
The layout you want is Tom's 12h
http://www.atmsite.org/contrib/Holm/Plop_optimized_cells/12PointCells/12h.html

The Plop setup file for the 12h design is
http://www.atmsite.org/contrib/Holm/Plop_optimized_cells/12PointCells/p12h.gr

Copy and paste that into Plop's editor, the last tab, replacing whatever
is in it. Then enter your mirror material and dimension's. (They will
be different from the ones in Tom's file.) Then run Plop.

The residual deformation will be plenty low enough.

The major advantage of the 12 point design is that, when another ATM
looks at it, they will see that it is unusual, and ask about it. You
will get to show off your sophistication!

As you can see from the figure, the "cg" of the bars is not in the
middle. I don't recall whether Plop reports the longer or shorter
length as the distance of the "cg".
