Re: [ATM] Infrared Scope Design II
The trend has been to reduce IR sensitivity, but.....
No longer a problem! Our modern capitalism, commercialism
and high crime have joined forces with consumptionism and
crime prevention to give us high resolution IR security
cameras. Its the future, and its here NOW!
Fry's electronics in the USA has some quite good B&W IR
cameras, for example, but I should warn that I have read
many bad things about Fry's electronics as a business. The
cameras sold by Fry's seem to match their paranoid
presumptions that all employees and customers are thieves.
I note that they actually have some of these cameras
installed in their stores (one of my discoveries during my
recent visit to California). Not sure why since they search
everyone on their way out. The presence of those cameras
does lead me to believe they actually work.
