Hi all,

"The construction of a reflecting telescope capable of showing every 
celestial object now known, is not a very difficult task. It demands 
primarily perseverance and careful observation of the minutiae. The cost of 
materials is but trifling compared with the results obtained, and I can see 
no reason why silvered glass instruments should not come into use among 
amateurs."
How right he was, Dr. Draper over 140 years ago knew the future for amateur 
astronomy!

Many thanks to the people that make it possible to share this source of 
knowledge over the internet. I 'm looking forward to the other articles!
