[ATM] Fw: Draper Articles



The interesting part, to me at least, relating to the acceptance date was
that 1864 was during the US Civil War. Wsahington was an armed camp at that
 time. As Virginia which was within a mile of the Smithsonian, was on the
 other side of the war.
