I have been offered a fused quartz blank, 14.5 inches by 1 inch thick.  I
have never used this stuff before though I have heard of it.  Anyone here
have any experience with this material?  How does it compare with Pyrex or
Plate?  My cost is one f4.5 tool.  Comments?
