I've just been catching up on the posts in the ATM list when I saw yours.
I've been lurking for a while and was going to post my first post when I've
finished my latest attempt, which I will finish one day. No, honestly I
will. I'm not just saying that, I really will finish it one day.

I too, am in Scotland, near Dumfries in the south west. Are you near by? As
I'd be pestering you for inspiration, knowledge, help and advice you may
want to think about that before answering ;-) If not, do you know of any
clubs, classes or anything else that may help me? I've just been reading in
Astronomy Now about the Camden Amateur Telescope-making Society (CATS). It's
the sort of thing I really need to get me going again and to learn more but
north London is a bit of a trek.

Anybody else any ideas? TIA
