The designation IRFF is a type designation for MOSFET type
transistors.  2N is the type designator for a transistor which
may also be a MOSFET type.  Put the number into google and find
the data sheet for the particular devices.  One number should be
a N type MOSFET while the other device will be a P type MOSFET.
All of the transistors will have about the same voltage limit and
current rating.
You will need to have somebody with an oscilloscope to really be
able to troubleshoot the unit.
