If it's got A/V jacks, it's good!  The problem with the really
cheap TV stuff is that they dno't have A/V jacks so you have to
go in, find the rightt pin on the jumbo reciever chip and cut the
trace for that line and bring out the video and put a switch on
so you can go back and forth.  I did this for a 9" TV but most of
the people here really couldn't do such stuff.  An article about
it really won't be that worthwhile as there are so many different
chips out there that are for cheap TVs that I'd have trouble
sorting them all out.
I tried to do the same sort of thing with the little DC to AC
convertors but over the few years since I've written it, I've had
3 people come up with different chips that do the job which is
why parts of that article are a bit nebulous.
