Allow me to disagree with your disagreeing. ;)  You don't understand the 
capabilities of math.   For years I was the same.  I thought I hated 
math but, as it turns out, what I hates was arithmetic.   Once I had 
calculators and computers I was free of that prejudice.  Math and 
Physics (which is quite related) is the history of some of the greatest 
minds ever.
