Re: [ATM] [atm_free] Re: Optimization

John and Mel,
I will also suggest this: my imagination is fired because I don't have a
mathematical understanding of the universe. What I do have is a gift of
appreciation of the power and beauty of what I am looking at in the sky. I
will never be able to quote light years, but I will be able to describe the
intense beauty of creation. What I find even more interesting is that
mathematics also describes and confirms that beauty that my soul
appreciates. Two different languages to describe and confirm what is set
before us.

Now that's amazing!

HI Mel!,

Please allow me to politely disagree,,,,,,
<<That's an interesting comment because Math is the engine that powers the
imagination.>> allow me to differ,,,. Math is a "Tool" used by the mind of
man, [example; man can build a building[ie,,a structure], The
scientific-tool of math
lets him know how-tall,wide,strong,etc.,, to build the building!]. Mans
"Mind, of which the "Imagination" is part of his psychie,
IMAGINES the shape of the building!, and uses the tool's of his "Present
Technology" [math beeing a tool'of the mind], along with "Tools of material
nature" ie,,steel, wood, etc,, to bring his "Imagined building into a
Reality!!". "Imagination" and "faith" if you will, to which every-man has
been given a "Measure", Gives him the "Tools of the mind" to advance past
the Lower-forms of life to become >>"ACreative Beeing" Thats why the "Tool
of Math" is more advanced TODAY!, than it was in the 14th century.

<<Imagination doesn't float down from the sky>>
of course-not, I agree!, but "Math"[a tool], doesn't spark Imagination!,
That's the whole point Einstein was trying to convey!, He had
"Math-knowledge!", but he realized it was Only a "Tool"!, and he realized to
better"Understand his "mathematical-concepts" he wished for more
"Imagination",, because he knew his "Stubbornness of his analytical-mind"
[some people call-it a "one-track-mind", as a pun] was keeping him
from->"seeing the trees, because of the forest"

<< - it comes from
deep understanding of nature's framework which is best described
mathematically.>> That's Like comparing Apples to Oranges,, The
Scientific-tool of Math,, has Nothing, whatsoever to do with Imagination!,,
Imagination is a "Measure of Creativity", Math doesn't describe Nature,, it
Measures it!

THNX mel, for allowing me to disagree, in a friendly and humble way, Please
take it as such, for I value your opinion and friendship!

That's an interesting comment because Math is the engine that powers the
imagination. Imagination doesn't float down from the sky - it comes from
deep understanding of nature's framework which is best described
mathematically.
