Start by getting a large rubber band.  These can be made with an old inner
tube from the tire store.  Cut it into one long piece about 1" or a little
wider and as long as you can.  You will probably end up with a strip of
rubber about 30' long or longer, depending upon the size of the inner tube.
Needless to say, large truck tubes are prefered for this as they have a lot
more area to turn into a rubber strip. Once you get the rubber strip, cut
two pieces so that you can tie them into rings that are small enough to hold
the tube in shape. Now comes the fun part!  Apply glue to all of the
surfaces that are going to be glued and build the tube using the two rings
of rubber to hold things in place.  Then Take the rest of the rubber strip
and wrap it around the tube.  Fun part is to get the tube fully wrapped
before the glue starts to setup.  Carpenter white or yellow glue tends to
start setting in less than 5 minutes so you really have to work fast. Once
the rubber band is wrapped around the tube, you can set it aside and let it
cure.  You can also cut some gusset pieces that will fit at the joints
inside and provide a bridge to the joint and apply them at this time.  If
you plan on them, you will want to have something to blow up a bit inside
the tube to hold them in place.  Don't blow up the inside too much or you
