Re: [ATM] Coulter Vs GSO mirrors
Hi Jerry,
yes, I must agree there,,
and unfortunately, the big "Telescope companys" look at the
bottom-line first[as they should, thats the only way to stay in business].
and the optics in most casses suffer, but thats real-life!, and I cant blame-them!,
most people expect to get "great-optics" from a manufatured $2,000 SC.
Thats Highly unreallistic!!,, and unfair to the companys producing them,,
I personnaly dont see how they sell them at that price!
thats why I make my own Optics!,
I KNOW what im getting!
The bottom-line is;
Dont expect something for nothing in the business-world, thats not-fair to
the company.
If your not satisfied with the Quality of "Optics" and, or "scopes", at the
current market-prices,,,,,,
"Build your own!!"
Thats my humble opinion,,

One pays for what he gets. But sometimes one pays for what he doesn't
get....
Particularly, in some commercial telescopes that are mostly trash. When you
see a scope using cheap, lousy items when quality would be only a few cents
more...Then what shortcuts are being made in the relatively expensive optic
components.
