[ATM] stepper-motor-controller??
Hi my friends!,
Im starting to design my 12.5 split-ring mount and I was thinking of putting a
differant type motor on this one,,on my 8 & 10-inchers I used dc-motors,but
I like to experiment and do things differant, so I thought I might try a stepper
drive this time around,,but Im LOUSY at Electronics,,
[BTW,, Heres a funny story about that];
I tried to build the 555 stepper-circuit ain the early-80's after i saw the wright-up
in S&T, so I built the circuit [it was Scary-looking!, I had wires going everywhere!,
it was a mess!, and I proceeded to plug-er in to the motor!,,BOY did I do something wrong!!,
all the motor did, was vibrate!, and jumped up-and-down on the Table!!,LOL,,LOL,,
it was hilarious!!,,,so that was my last attempt!.LOL,,LOL,,,,
Anyway,,
I found this circuit at "harbach & radman", on their website, and was
wondering what You guys thought,, would that circuit do for a drive??
Here's the address;

TNX again!!
