Let us know the glass type and diagonal size and I'll run Plop for you.
With that steep a curve, the optimum radius may shift a bit from that
calculated for shallower mirrors.
3-support points may be enough, but is sort of on the edge.
The only two problems with plywood are:
1. Is is stiff enough to hold collimation well enough?
2. Is it waterproof enough and a good enough grade of wood not to warp
and cause collimation problems?
My guess is the answer to 1 is yes and the answer to two is that two or
three coats of good polyurethane varnish should keep it from warpiong if
it is decent wood to begin with. This is probably a place to use
cabinet grade hardwood plywood such as baltic birch.
