Hi Marco,

I successfully supported a 50mm thick 12 inch f8 mirror on three pieces of
cork about 20 years ago so perhaps a plywood tailgate would also work. No
harm if it doesn't, you can always build a 3 point cell later - and you'll
know if the tailgate works or not.
