This is a very nice job, very complete overview, which no doubt has cost you
a significant part of your time. I've immediately bookmarked the link for

While reading an issue occurred to me, about the 15 psi optimum for dob
bearing pad size, which has probably been addressed many times before.
How can one be certain about the actual area of contact between bearing and
teflon pad? Is the teflon creep enough at 15psi to conform with the bearing
surface?
