The outside in polishing is probably from the longer strokes that
you did with the grinding.  Just keep on polishing and maybe
lengthen the strokes a bit   When you get a full polish, you'll
probably find that you have a hyperbolic surface so thta would
call for a TOT polish for a while to get the spherical surface or
a parabolic surface if you're lucky.
