Thomas, a microscope slide cover glass very fine ground on one side
should do the trick. The glass is of high quality and very thin. Use
the finest grind that you can, 600 carbo or finer and make sure the
ground surface is evenly ground. Have several pieces on hand when doing
this as they break easily but after the first one or two break, you'll
get the hang of it.
