[ATM] Ronchi programs vs.Foucault testing

Howdy folks-
   Has anyone compiled info on the accuracy,say, of the Ron Win program, with its ruler function as an example,vs the accuracy of Foucault testing? Aren't both essentially subject to interpretation? Halving  never foucault tested , I'm curious how the two would compare.
