Re: [ATM] How long did it take you to make your mirror?

An interesting question:

It depends on the material.

My first mirror was a 10" pyrex blank and it took about 100 hours to complete

My second was a 6" pyrex blank and it took about 30-40 hours to complete

My third was a 14" and it took about 60 to 80 hours to complete.  The 14" was very soft 
glass; so grinding went alot quicker.
