We're talking about stripping a mirror here, not higher mathematics. The difference in volume between a sphere and parabola of the same focal length is very negligable. You can only buy Ferric Chloride or other chemicals in incremental amounts that are vastly greater than this difference. An 8 oz bottle of Ferric Chloride will be enough to strip the mirror and you won't be laughed out of the store by your request for 13.138ml (or whatever it figures out to be) of the stuff.
 
Get real.

But wouldn't you want this for the paraboloid you are stripping instead
of a sphere?
