I found something slightly different at

being to lazy to derive the formula myself.
Spherical Cap = The portion of a sphere cut off by a
plane.
Radius of sphere: r
Radius of base: r1
Height: h
Surface area: S
Volume: V
r = (h^2+r1^2)/(2h)
S = 2*Pi*r*h
V = (Pi/6)*(3*r1^2+h^2)*h
