I am not going to fuel controversies about John Dobson, but
I would appreciate if there is anybody around who has had opportunity
to test mirror made by Dobson himself, with one of methods available
and used widely by atm-s (Foucault, interferometry, Ronchi).

And I wander how come that after his visit to atm club mentioned above
nobody asked him about details of this apocryphal
 "fairly easy way (for him) to tell what part of the mirror needed work"
in order to make his method available to mases.
