Re: [ATM] Linking motors to shafts

Well, finally was able to break free some time to work on my scope again,
and now I'm into the land of stepper motor drives. I'd like to ask today if
there is a "right" way to attach motor shafts to things like threaded rods
to create a drive shaft? I have a stepper motor that has
<<<

Periodic errors will arise if the stepper shaft and threaded rod drive shaft
are not aligned perfectly. That's a problem because even with commercial
couplers, the threaded rod being undersized for the coupler, will offset to
the side. See you can get a machinest to make something up for you where
the threaded rod screws down into a metal block with the motor shaft coupled
on the opposite end.
