[ATM] the total lunar eclipse
Hello List
This October the 27th on Wednesday there is going to be a total lunar eclipse. And this includes the United States.
But I've checked the Weather Channel.com and they've predicted that on that day for Michigan (that's where I live) we'll get rain. Too bad. But for you people out west you'll get a very good view of it. It will look like a blood red at its fullest. And will last from 8pm to 10:30pm.
Any of you with a tracking telescope with a camera might find this a great opertunity to test out your skills.
If anyway the sky turns clear and I get a chance to picture it, I'll post them on the net to show them to you.
Does any one know about when the next solar eclipse is going to happen for the United States?
Also I have the Starry Night Enthusiast software and it is a nice package, but you have to have the pro package if you are going to control the Meade telescope (I have an LX200).
Does any one have advice for getting an LX200 and a ST-237A SBIG CCD camera to work together?
Thank you
David
