[ATM] Telescope Mount Update

No pics this time - but - 

I have built a spyglass focuser using PVC and wood. 
It's smooth and easy to use.  I split a piece of
1-1/2" 40-sch water pipe down its length and widened
it with some boiling water to allow a 1-1/4" piece of
similar white pipe to slide in the split piece.

For the DEC drive wheel, I'm using a piece of wood
taken from a 16" wire spool.  I put a ring of wood
screws around the edge and ran a piece of nylon kite
string around it and a 1/4" bolt.  The bolt is in a
bushing and has a knob on it to let it turn by hand,
giving a nice and slow DEC drive slow-motion knob.

My RA drive and brake system still isn't even
designed.

For my next trick, I'm going to build a spider for my
diagonal.  I'm going to use banding iron - the kind
used to hold wooden crates together - and of course -
PVC pipe and silicone.

After it's been tested, I'm going to rebuild the whole
thing out of aluminum angle or square tube.  I'm going
to use gears for the RA drive when I build it out of
metal.
