nice idea, but someone already had this one. I guess you get some hits 
if you search the archive for OAP, which stands for 'Off-Axis 
Paraboloid'. AFAIR, the consensus is that the added effort is not worth 
the work, at least for an amateur. If you want, just go ahead and grind 
a 22" and cut two nice 10" OAPs off it ;-)

In fact, a Schiefspiegler does not use this OAP kind of mirror, but 
rather a spherical or paraboloidal one. To correct for the tilt-induced 
errors a corrective optics, a single lens, is used in the path of light. 
The original Schiefspiegler system was invented by Anton Kutter.
