[ATM] A Thank You to Don Clement on Compliant Hinges!



Don, Thank You!  Metallic compliant hinges are AMAZING!

I'm spending a little of my own venture capital / labor on building a 16" 
Bino-scope.  One of the problems is how to do the fine inter optical collimation 
'trick'

A few weeks ago I saw your post on compliant hinges and it got me to thinking.

Today I realized just how AMAZING they are!  Talk about allowing only 1 degree 
of freedom, and COMPLETE constraint of the remaining 5 degrees of freedom!  I 
can't think of any other hinge idea that could even come close to accomplishing 
such a feat!

So Don, Thank you! :)

Now all that's left is EVERYTHING, and hope fully soon I'll be sending a Thank 
You to Mel Bartels for his "Tri-Dob" Alt / Az Idea!
